Smoke could be seen as far as seven miles away rising from two burning houseboats docked at the Lithia Springs Marina on Lake Shelbyville Friday morning. No injuries were associated with the fires, but the two boats were destroyed and a third was damaged. A cause for the fire was not yet determined by fire officials at the scene. The major fire drew firefighters from Shelbyville and Windsor. Luckily the fire departments responded quickly and there was no wind, preventing the fire from spreading
